Fiona Harman is a visual artist based in Perth, Western Australia.
My current projects explore ways painting can be used to explore the evocative potential of the landscape. Focusing on natural and built environments, I combine abstracted and figurative spaces to de-familiarise boundaries between the real and imagined to encourage associative freedom with feelings and experiences of place.
In 2012 I completed a Bachelor of Fine Art (1st class Honours) at Curtin University, and went on to complete a creative research PhD (Architecture and Art).
